Alexandra Fara

7th Hunger Games Victor
Age at Victory: 14
Current Age: 72

Personality:
A fading hero, Alexandra was once a hero to any young District 2 girl, being the first female Victor. Now slowed down with age, she chooses to be an observer in the training centre and give mental advice, teaching survival skills to the tributes who wanted to learn, which has grown less and less but she feels it means she gets to learn more about the teenagers she teaches.

Game Strategy:
Performing deliberately badly in the training sessions and held in bad disregard by the rest of her alliance, she was suffering from flu during the Games. However she fought her way from the bottom of the pack, killing half of the small alliance she had in the night before running away, choosing to never look back and she hasn't since.

Iolite Burkin

Iolite Burkin

13th Hunger Games Victor
Age at Victory: 16
Current Age: 68

Personality:
The first 'Career' Victor from 2, Iolite used to head up the Academy but now prefers to spend her time teaching the younger kids who are slower and are ones that she can catch up with. Smart and calculating, she enjoys a good physical and mental challenge when she can and enjoys puzzling her tributes both on their knowledge as well as their fighting.

Game Strategy:
Staying in the back of the newly formed and extremely volatile pack, she knew that the alliance could be dangerous given that there were trained tributes in the alliance. Sticking close with her District partner, they stood by each other as long as they could before taking down the alliance. It was a close fight between them but her experience ultimately gave her the advantage.

Successful Mentorship:
Danburite Mensa
Larimar Dayim

Danburite Mensa

16th Hunger Games Victor
Age at Victory: 16
Current Age: 65

Personality:
As the current head of the Training Academy in District 2, Danburite is one of the most well-respected people in the District. Ruling with an iron rod, she believes in a military discipline in her approach to how she sees everyone and how anything and everything should be run. Brought up in a Peacekeeper family, she abides the rules like it is second-nature.

Game Strategy:
With a keen eye and a stickler for decisive action, Danburite lead the Career pack with fear and brutality that lead them to terrorise the arena instead of provide entertainment and the Capitol were riveted by the way that they cut through the remaining tributes, almost literally. Her good sense of judgment meant she knew when the inevitable alliance split came and gave her the advantage of surprise.

Successful Mentorship:
Spinel Yaxer
Enobaria Isa

Zircon Mayer

27th Hunger Games Victor
Age at Victory: 17
Current Age: 55

Personality:
Joint head of the Training Academy in District 2 with Danburite, he has no mercy and is often the source of comparison when tributes talk of Enobaria. A harsh critic, he believes that what he is doing is giving the trainees the best education he can give them and doesn't appreciate back-talking or snide comments, believing that all opinions and thoughts should be out in the open.

Game Strategy:
Taking a 'no prisoners, no mercy' attitude to the Games, he lead the Career pack on a charge across the arena to wipe out as many of the tributes as he could before turning on his allies one by one, slitting their throats with no mercy and no explanation. This forced the Careers to split but not before he showed no remorse for his actions and happily fought against his former allies.

Successful Mentorship:
Brutus Jacknife

Spinel Yaxer

33rd Hunger Games Victor
Age at Victory: 16
Current Age: 48

Personality:
One of the biggest fans of the Capitol, Spinel can rarely stop talking about the Capitol and is one of Jasper's most frequent companions on his trips to the Capitol. He basks in the glory that he gets and is one of the few people who can just about stand Larimar. Always looking out for any cameras that might want to capture him, he finds it difficult to be away from the spotlight.

Game Strategy:
With both the Gamemakers and the Capitolites on his side, Spinel knew that he would have an easy time in the arena. Under orders from the President of Panem, the Gamemakers geared his Games in his favour at every turn, without arousing suspicion, and it was a walk in the park for Spinel to get out of the arena alive and well.

Successful Mentorship:
Jasper Crevet

Larimar Dayim

43rd Hunger Games Victor
Age at Victory: 18
Current Age: 30

Personality:
A bully since she was a child, she Volunteered for the Games because she thought (knew) she was better than everyone else. She is generally disliked by both Victors and people of the District for her brash and high and mighty attitude towards others. She spends her time preening herself and making sure she looks good for the cameras. She cares very little for the tributes' she mentors.

Game Strategy:
Although she proved herself to be a worthy tribute and a capable ally, Larimar managed to successfully annoy every single one of the tributes and especially her allies. Eventually they turned on her but her skills outweighed theirs and while some were killed in the process, she was almost fatally wounded before overcoming her District partner who was the last obstacle in her way.

Successful Mentorship:
n/a

Brutus Jacknife

45th Hunger Games Victor
Age at Victory: 16
Current Age: 36

Personality:
While he may seem hard-core on the outside, refusing to show many emotions when he is training the tributes he is actually soft at the core when you get to his good side. He refuses to show any 'lesser emotions' than bold and brutal as he thinks that people will think less of him. Some of the other Victors know of this softer side and they think it makes him seem more human.

Game Strategy:
Incredibly accurate and strong, Brutus was a natural choice for the Academy trainers as their choice of tribute for the 45th Games. Competent with a range of weapons, Brutus took out his foes in the bloodbath from both close and long range. His allies learnt to fear him very quickly and when the final showdown came, it was a wipeout for Brutus.

Successful Mentorship:
n/a

Jasper Crevet

52nd Hunger Games Victor
Age at Victory: 15
Current Age: 28

Personality:
It is well-known amongst the Victors about how much Jasper hates himself. One of the Capitol favourites to 'use' as they please, he reluctantly makes the monthly trips having lost both his parents for refusing the first two times. While they cannot do anything about it, they try to support him and often one of the other Victors will go with him as they know he is on the verge of a breakdown.

Game Strategy:
A smooth talker, Jackson used his words to turn his allies against each other which lead to the quick demolition of the Career alliance which had been very strong and threatening before. Once he had escaped the clutches of the alliance who were on the verge of breaking anyway, he find it easy to weed out the other tributes so he could return home.

Successful Mentorship:
n/a

Enobaria Isa

58th Hunger Games Victor
Age at Victory: 15
Current Age: 22

Personality:
Enobaria likes to push people to their absolute limits, whether that is physically with the tributes that she trains at the Centre, or in their patience if she is annoying them. Often as seen as harsh and heartless, she is feared throughout the District and has trained some of the most promising Careers in the District, none of them actually making it home but many of them coming close.

Game Strategy:
Developing a strange joy in watching people bleed to death as she had never seen before, Enobaria favoured tasting blood for herself as she ripped out tributes' throats, literally, before watching them die in front of her. While this slow process sometimes nearly got her killed, it made her terrifying to both her allies and her foes. A favourite with the Capitol.

Successful Mentorship:

DISTRICT 3

Tracer Ream

11th Hunger Games Victor
Age at Victory: 16
Current Age: 70

Personality:
Born to complain as much as he could, Tracer is now suffering from dementia due to old age and wants to die as soon as he can but no one will help him as they value their first Victor far too much. He is snappy and thoroughly dislikable, only the other Victors can stand him as they feel they have a duty towards him. Often he will find himself in comfortable silence with Aeolian who he feels understands him.

Game Strategy:
Staying as far away as he could from anyone and anywhere, Tracer left the bloodbath with a short sword and a large backpack. Combing the arena and mapping it in his head, he forced tributes out of their hiding places before cutting them down, determined to get home to his family.

Successful Mentorship:
Elysia Zampha

Elysia Zampha

22nd Hunger Games Victor
Age at Victory: 17
Current Age: 60

Personality:
Well respected by the community of District 3, she loves to look after the poorest in the District as that is where she came from before her Victory. Hard-working and dedicated, she refuses to give up on her bid to make sure that no one goes without a day without a meal, especially the children who she has had a soft spot for. She has seen too many children die in the Games to let them die in the District too.

Game Strategy:
Having grown up on the streets of District 3, Elysia was used to lack of food which came in handy with her allies who were less used to hunger. She was able to ration the food that she found and survived the other tributes simply because she was used to less food. She stole food and supplies which helped draw other tributes away from their safety before her allies killed them. She only made one kill.

Successful Mentorship:
Wiress Wood

Wiress Wood

31st Hunger Games Victor
Age at Victory: 16
Current Age: 50

Personality:
Born with a speech impediment, Wiress has had to learn how to communicate with others through only half of what she wants to say. She is very grateful to anyone who does understand and helps her along her way as she often feels helpless and useless. She is very caring and supportive of anyone who wants pursue what they love as she could never do.

Game Strategy:
A strategist and excellent trap builder, she rigged the arena full of the traps that she built from what was around her and then tricked tributes into falling into the tributes which left them easy pickings to kill from there. Although she was reluctant to kill at first, she realised that she would never get out of the arena alive if she didn't and that was enough reasoning for her to get out.

Successful Mentorship:
Beetee Latier

Beetee Latier

40th Hunger Games Victor
Age at Victory: 14
Current Age: 39

Personality:
Sharp-eyed and observant, Beetee tends to notice things that other people don't, whether that it is technical faults in machines or character traits in his tributes that they didn't think was of any help to them. He is very good at engaging people in conversation and always makes an effort to make the conversation about them as he doesn't like to talk about himself.

Game Strategy:
His extensive technical knowledge became a gift when he was given a large coil of electrical wire. Linking it to the only water source in the centre of the arena, he was able to electrocute and kill all four Careers who were left as well as two of the other three opponents who were left. With only one person left in his way, it was an easier path to victory than some he knew.

Successful Mentorship:
Aeolian Jinx

Aeolian Jinx

59th Hunger Games Victor
Age at Victory: 15
Current Age: 21

Personality:
Seeing the world in black and white, literally, Aeolian is a recluse and is rarely seen around the District. He is only occasionally seen at the market to buy food and then at the Reapings where he is almost forced out as he hates being known as a Victor. All he wanted was a normal childhood and it wasn't what he got, so there is a lot of bitterness bottled up that he hopes will never explode.

Game Strategy:
Refusing to let his sight problem deter him from doing his best in the Games, Aeolian relied on his other senses and instinct to detect what was safe to touch, or eat in terms of the natural food around, before using his knowledge of what was poisonous to kill off his foes.

Successful Mentorship:

DISTRICT 4

Mags Warer

10th Hunger Games Victor
Age at Victory: 15
Current Age: 70

Personality:
In a constant state of shock, Mags hasn't spoken for nearly 55 years. She prefers to communicate through facial expressions and gestures which has become a very effective method of communication. Adored by her district for coming home, they are patient with her as she is with them and she takes great delight in praising people rather than bringing them down.

Game Strategy:
Her Games slightly duller than previous years, Mags used her position in the newly forming 'Career Pack' to observe her allies and make her moves and judgments from there. Thinking before she leapt, she killed off her allies and foes alike without arousing suspicion which made her a Capitol favourite as they watched as she became the underdog Victor no one expected.

Successful Mentorship:
Lagena Drimpy
Finnick Odair

Wednesday, 8 October 2014

Lagena Drimpy

20th Hunger Games Victor
Age at Victory: 15
Current Age: 60

Personality:
As current head trainer of the Training Centre, Lagena oversees the bringing up of the next leaders of District 4. A born leader herself, she prides herself on bringing up leaders. She is observant and critical of anything and everything and while people take it as offensive, she sees it as constructive and meant only to build people up.

Game Strategy:
Refusing to join the Career Pack, she opted to go solo through the Games, moving by night and killing as many tributes who were sleeping, blind of their impending fate. When it finally got around to the Careers, she was faced with the choice of join them and live a little longer perhaps or fight to the death, the choice for her was obvious and she just managed to escape with her life.

Successful Mentorship:
Coral Blessing
Keagan O'Hara

Coral Blessing

37th Hunger Games Victor
Age at Victory: 14
Current Age: 42

Personality:
Impatient and spoilt, Coral is one of the least favourite Victors that have come out of the Games. She is difficult to work with and full of herself which makes her hard to predict. The Victors have never been keen on working with her but she doesn't have a real idea of this. Despite her personality, her Games were highly successful with the Capitol.

Game Strategy:
Impatient to get the Games over and done with as soon as possible, Coral became very excited by the blood that was being shed around her and threw herself into the Games as much as she could. A potential danger to the other tributes, they tried to get rid of her early which shortened the length of the Games as she fought back and won, giving her a clear path to victory.

Successful Mentorship:
n/a

Keagan O'Hara

44th Hunger Games Victor
Age at Victory: 15
Current Age: 36

Personality:
Fiercly protective of his family, Jackson is proud of his son but often finds himself looking into Bethany's old room, wishing she had come home. Sometimes he is prone to bursts of anger which have frightened his children but Aedan has learnt how to quell it. He is worried about Aedan's mental health and hopes that the voices are just a figment of his imagination.

Game Strategy:
Second in command in the Careers, Keagan was the one to start the break up of the alliance, stabbing his allies in the back, both literally and figuratively. He went on an anger rampage, frightening his allies and forcing them out of their comfort zone before beating them all and finishing the job he had volunteered to do.

Successful Mentorship:
Jackson Leadworth

Jackson Leadworth

51st Hunger Games Victor
Age at Victory: 16
Current Age: 30

Personality:
A social butterfly, Jackson has dedicated his life to training up future Victors and rejoices when he gets one home as he has recently. A staunch supporter of both the Capitol and the Hunger Games, he helps Lagena run the Training Centre in 4 and is poised to take over from her when she retires. He is trustworthy and sticks to his morals without wavering, even if it is controversial.

Game Strategy:
Jackson was an unlikely winner for the Games, having remained very much in the background of the Career pack until the pack split up and he killed his allies which left him with only a few, weaker tributes to kill which he did with ease and no qualms.

Successful Mentorship:
Aedan O'Hara

Aedan O'Hara

63rd Hunger Games Victor
Age at Victory: 18
Current Age: 20

Personality:
Stoic and a family man, everything that Aedan does is in the name of his sister, Bethany. Aedan has the ability to make people feel calm when they are stressed. Since his return from the Games, he has been suffering from voices in his head which hasn't affected anything he has done but he worries that one day he might lose control of something and hurt someone he cares about.

Game Strategy:
The leader of the Careers, Aedan clashed with Florin from District 1 and set his goal in the Games of killing the girl from 6, Luisa Laney, Victor of D6 having killed his sister the previous year. A fair leader, he wasn't the firm favourite of the Capitol but they are learning to love him.

Successful Mentorship:
n/a

Finnick Odair

64th Hunger Games Victor
Age at Victory: 14
Current Age: 15

Personality:
Already beloved by the Capitol, Finnick is regarded as one of the best-looking Victors to come out of the Games. Charming and suave, he has a knack for making people feel comfortable. He is well-mannered and polite, he is adjusting to the life of a Victor, both the perks and the problems. He is both excited and nervous for his first year of mentoring.

Game Strategy:
Charming the Capitolites for sponsors, Finnick stayed in the background of the Career pack until he was gifted with a trident, one of the most expensive gifts ever sent. With his lethal weapon by his side, he was unstoppable and while he showed mercy to those who were suffering, he killed without a moment's hesitation.

DISTRICT 5

Lars Ridgeway

12th Hunger Games Victor
Age at Victory: 16
Current Age: 69

Personality:
Despite the hardships of the Games he was in, Lars loves life and lives for every minute of the day that he can get. A social butterfly, he loves to spend as much time as he can outside his house, visiting friends and family, comforting those who have lost tributes to the Games. He is generous and will offer a hand to anyone he sees that is in need.

Game Strategy:
Having hit it off with Caesar, he managed to befriend both allies and foes alike in his time at the arena. Fiercly loyal, he refused to disband any alliance he was in and fought alongside them rather than running away. He had picked up spears fairly quickly and proved his skills were as competent as his way with words.

Successful Mentorship:
Toriodal Farthing
Storm Ubel

Monday, 6 October 2014

Toriodal Farthing

19th Hunger Games Victor
Age at Victory: 17
Current Age: 63

Personality:
Suffering from dementia, Toriodal can barely remember the tributes that he has to remember weeks after their deaths in the Games, let alone his own Games. He has resigned himself to a life of distant or non-existent memories and is eager to die as soon as he can but he can't bring himself to do it himself. He is morose and often depressing to be around.

Game Strategy:
With a natural charm and a way with words, Toriodal soon because an underdog favourite of the Capitol, so he was no short of sponsors and gifts in the Games, something that was not quickly picked up on by the other tributes. He won through hiding from the rather intimidating tributes that year to die before claiming the title.

Successful Mentorship:
Avyanna Sand

Storm Ubel

28th Hunger Games Victor
Age at Victory: 15
Current Age: 52

Personality:
Considered and diagnosed as mentally unstable, she is fascinated by death and blood. She is loved by the Capitol for giving them a gory Games and while she is considered a danger to society and often finds herself locked up in hospital to keep her away from people she might hurt. One of the most beloved but also feared Victors.

Game Strategy:
Discovering a lust for torture, blood and death, Storm had no qualms about killing any of the tributes.   She took her time over each and every death, letting the screams fill the air and haunt the other tributes before letting her victims bleed to death after hours of agony.

Successful Mentorship:
Elena Volney

Sunday, 5 October 2014

Avyanna Sand

32nd Hunger Games Victor
Age at Victory: 18
Current Age: 51

Personality:
Celebrity-obsessed, she went into the Games in the hope of becoming as famous as the Victor idols she looked up to so much. There was much surprise when she came home a Victor but her fascination  with the Games continued and she is very knowledgeable about everything to do with them. She is prone to spurting random facts out about things in general and people.

Game Strategy:
She was found rather annoying and self-obsessed by the other tributes and made neither allies nor foes. She became fiercely protective of her district partner which almost cost her, her life but she fought her way out knowing that she would be more famous if she came back alive than dead.

Successful Mentorship:
n/a

Elena Volney

53rd Hunger Games Victor
Age at Victory: 15
Current Age: 27

Personality:
Having grown up on the streets of 5, Elena is tough talking and doesn't take any nonsense from anybody. She spends as much time out of the Victor Village as possible, preferring to spend her time and money on the people who she grew up with. An advocator for better living in District 5, she is a growing concern for the Capitol but a hero to the poorest of the District.

Game Strategy:
Used to hunger, she outlived many tributes in a Game where no food was provided. She moved by day and slept very little at night, always alert and always ready to meet whatever was going to come her way. She holds the record for the least kills for a District 5 Victor at only 1.

Successful Mentorship:
n/a

DISTRICT 6

Jalopy Nanca

6th Hunger Games Victor
Age at Victory: 18
Current Age: 54 - DECEASED

Personality:
Hailed as a hero by her district for being the first Victor from District 6, she doesn't reciprocate their feelings and hates them because they don't understand what she went through. She was killed by a their who didn't realise who she was in time just prior to the 55th Hunger Games.

Game Strategy:
The Hunger Games were still in their baby steps she Jalopy did not have much experience in the art of fighting. Instead she used her knowledge of transport and how to get around silently to navigate the arena, avoiding people and killing when she could get an advantage over another tribute.

Successful Mentorship:
Wellen Dogma

Wellen Dogma

17th Hunger Games Victor
Age at Victory: 17
Current Age: 65

Personality:
He has never let his disadvantage get to him and he is a quiet man who prefers to observe and learn about mannerisms. He is a comedian who has an ability to mimic people to perfection in their mannerisms even if he can't hear their voices to get them right. He is often therefore not taken seriously which he is not sure whether he appreciates or not.

Game Strategy:
Deaf from birth, he used his other heightened senses to navigate the arena with his allies who did their best to help him. His bright eyesight and ability to sense danger helped him to avoid predators and take out tributes by night.

Successful Mentorship:
Blimp Pordal

Zamboni Flick

30th Hunger Games Victor
Age at Victory: 16
Current Age: 51

Personality:
Thanks to the unpredictable nature of her Games, Zamboni is constantly on edge and jumpy. She believes that people are out to get her and that there is a conspiracy theory to kill her either from the Capitol or within her own District. She is mistrustful of people she doesn't know well and can be harsh towards the tributes, refusing to interact with them.

Game Strategy:
With experience with hunting knives and throwing stars, she was an unexpected deadly weapon, proving that having brains and brawn wasn't everything. Her careful aim made her able to take out opponents without the need for full on confrontation.

Successful Mentorship:
Luisa Laney

Blimp Pordal

34th Hunger Games Victor
Age at Victory: 17
Current Age: 48

Personality:
Very protective and defensive of his district and his country, Blimp is considered as a father to the group of Victors, even though most of them are older than him. Often worrying about people's health, he has a compulsion to make sure that they are okay every day. He tries to avoid becoming attached to the tributes he mentors but he mostly fails and can become very distraught post-Games that he mentors in.

Game Strategy:
Knowing that he would eventually have to leave them to survive, Blimp relied on his allies heavily to  survive and took good care of them until they died and then, when there were few left, he had to kill them in order to get home to the District he cared so much about.

Successful Mentorship:
n/a

Luisa Laney

62nd Hunger Games Victor
Age at Victory: 17
Current Age: 20

Personality:
Brutal and ruthless, Luisa has no filter on her mouth and isn't afraid to tell people what she thinks of them. She is blunt in her approach to her tributes and doesn't care what they will think of her because she believes that she is the only person who needs to like her for her to function. She is a little wary of District 4, knowing full well that she killed a relative of two District 4 Victors.

Game Strategy:
Brutal and ruthless, Luisa took no prisoners and had no real allies as she slaughtered her way through the Games. Joining the Career pack, she used them to cut through the tributes, often literally, before turning her backs on the alliance and fighting through to the end. Bethany O'Hara was her biggest problem and the first one she picked off.

Successful Mentorship:
n/a

DISTRICT 7

Guelder Rosta

1st Hunger Games Victor
Age at Victory: 17
Current Age: 81

Personality:
Physically unable to live without his family, both his biological and Victor, Guelder takes some degree in pride in being the first Victor of the Hunger Games. He loves telling stories of the Old Days, before, during and after the Rebellion that forced the Hunger Games onto them to anyone who will listen. An excellent story teller, he can capture the imagination of any audience he can gain.

Game Strategy:
Having had no time to train, he and the other tributes were almost just thrown into the Games after two nights in the Capitol and being put on parade to the nation. A sense of fear had gripped the tributes and he was the first to break the fear by jumping off his plate and grabbing what he recognised that could be helpful before cutting down those who he knew were a danger to the Capitol  as he believed he wasn't.

Successful Mentorship:
Sitka Spruce
Douglas West

Sitka Spruce

14th Hunger Games Victor
Age at Victory: 15
Current Age: 51 - DECEASED

Personality:
Obsessed with trees, growth and the study of anything nature-related, Sitka was born for the outdoors and when she had a family, her youngest being born 20 years after she had won her Games, she taught them to be free and live life. However when her daughter was killed in the 49th Games, she fell into depression and committed suicide during the Second Quarter Quell.

Game Strategy:
Being so in tune with nature, she understood how to demolish and cut down trees as well as how to take care of them. Her previous usage of axes was useful as she became ruthless in the Games, cutting down foes and allies alike and becoming one of the most feared Victors in the Games.

Successful Mentorship:
Rowan Griffiths

Douglas West

21st Hunger Games Victor
Age at Victory: 18
Current Age: 62

Personality:
Both a darling of the Capitol and of his own district, Douglas is renown for his singing voice and bright demeanour, despite the fact he was put through his Games. Somewhat of a celebrity, he tries to avoid crowded places as he suffers from claustrophobia but is very willing to talk to people who want to talk and is very likeable. He is a favourite for any District 7 tribute because of the calm way he handles their distress.

Game Strategy:
With many sponsors and fans in the Capitol going into the Games, Douglas and his allies found it easy to get supplies. While the wholly poisonous berries that inhabited the arena claimed the lives of many tributes, he avoided them like the plague and won when he and remaining tribute who had died of starvation, took berries, or at least he pretended to.

Successful Mentorship:
Blight Harmony

Rowan Griffiths

29th Hunger Games Victor
Age at Victory: 18
Current Age: 27 - DECEASED

Personality:
Spiteful and full of hatred for the Capitol, she was well-known, for both good and bad reasons, for her open dislike of many people, include the President at the time. It was not treated as suspicious by anyone except the other Victors and her family when she was found dead three months after the 36th Hunger Games.

Games Strategy:
Rowan had one of the toughest arenas in the Games history. A Game that latest over three weeks resulted in severe dehydration for many of the tributes but Rowan knew how to adapt to what she had and became one of the most unpopular Victors in Hunger Games history.

Successful Mentorship:

Blight Harmony

42nd Hunger Games Victor
Age at Victory: 17
Current Age: 40

Personality:
Preferring solitude to company, Blight wants nothing to do with any future Hunger Games and when he is dragged into them (sometimes physically), he is obnoxious and rude, not far from his usual self. He aims to forget his Games through, like Haymitch, the supposed joy of alcohol. He has been hospitalised twice because of malnourishment due his forgetting to eat and drowning his own sorrows.

Game Strategy:
The 42nd Games is known as one of the bloodiest and most gory Games in history. Disturbed by all the blood he saw at the bloodbath, Blight broke up from his alliance and ran away, trying to get as far away from anyone else as he could. He couldn't stand the sight of blood and almost died when he pulled the knife out of the District 2 girl's chest to see it covered in blood and froze in shock,

Successful Mentorship:
Sassfrass Mercy

Sassfrass Mercy

57th Hunger Games Victor
Age at Victory: 16
Current Age: 24

Personality:
A keen artist both by trade and by Capitol skill to show off to the world, Sassfrass spends most of his time drawing, sketching and painting. He concentrates on those that people have lost and never fails, in the few weeks after the Games, to paint a portrait of the fallen tributes. He hopes to one day be able to give the portrait to a Victor rather than a mourning family. He is very good at remembering faces and the circumstances surrounding them.

Game Strategy:
Used to working with the absolute basics both in terms of being able to live and in his art, Sassfrass easily adapted to the harsh conditions of his arena and used his new found skills to hunt animals for food and then tributes to get out alive. Having been so on edge, he developed an anxiety disorder that has only been helped by his drawing, when he is fully in the zone.

Successful Mentorship:

DISTRICT 8

Woof Karson

4th Hunger Games Victor
Age at Victory: 17
Current Age: 78

Personality:
Deafened by a volcanic eruption a week into the Games, Woof lives in almost silence, lapsing between life and coma. His health is fading very fast and he struggles to make it through the day, only living for the tributes that he longs to bring home more of. The other Victors don't expect him to live very much longer and, in all honesty, neither does he.

Game Strategy:
Terrified of the situation he had been put into, at the bloodbath Woof simply turned and ran away as fast as he could from the Cornucopia. He was aware of his disadvantage when he was deafened but refused to be disheartened by the weaknesses and stayed awake until he won, keeping alert and using the post-eruption confusion, to kill the two other tributes who remained.

Successful Mentorship:
Zibeline Harlim
Rinzu Cherry
