She is very good at reading people and listening, being able to tell people's weaknesses and strengths simply through observation. Like a second mother often to the tributes she mentors, she is compassionate and loyal and she offers excellent advice when she is aware that someone needs it. Often tributes are sent to her if they are worried about the Games by mentors who are less feeling.

Game Strategy:

Being able to read the other tributes, she was able to anticipate some of the movements of some tributes when they reached the arena and acted accordingly to get herself home. Moving silently, she escaped detection from the Careers and while she didn't escape the Cornucopia with much supplies, her ability to coerse people into helping her gave her a distinct advantage.
